 .: The Party of the Ideology of the U.S. Constitution

American Solutions

"The GOP needs to become the Party of the Ideology of the U.S. Constitution, representing and truly advancing the absolute Ethics and the perfect Esthetics of the Supreme Law of the Land. The Party that could realistically narrow the gap between the Spirit, the Word, the Intent of the U.S. Constitution and the reality the American people live in."

The GOP in the current crisis of human affairs
by Boris Tiraspolsky

After the initial shock of the 2008 National Election, conservative political pundits have been trying to figure out the cause of this historic defeat allowing Democrats to gain a control of  the Executive branch and also substantially increase a number of seats in the Legislative branch of the U.S. Government. Continued...

In general, all analysis of the GOP 2008 Presidential campaign could be condensed to the four fallowing categories that attempt to explain why the Republican lost the White House:

1. The right message, the right messenger, but ineffectually organized campaign;
2. The right messenger, but the weak message,  and poorly organized campaign;
3. The wrong messenger, ineptly organized campaign, but the right message;
4. The wrong message, the wrong messenger and poorly organized campaign.

There is perhaps some truth in all four categories mentioned above that caused the defeat of the GOP. Although, I think the last category on the list - “the wrong message, the wrong messenger and poorly organized campaign“ - is the closest to the reality of what happened in the 2008 National Election to the Republican Party.

I am not a member of any Political Party. However, I always voted for the GOP’s old “right message”. Sometimes I did it even regardless of a “right messenger”. Alas! In the 2008 National Election I did not have my Party to vote for. Moreover, I think that wining the presidency in 2008 would have been almost an impossible endeavor for the Republican Party regardless of circ-umstances. Let me explain why.

Currently, the Nation is at a historical “T” intersection. There is no familiar and comfortable Straight Pathway the country enjoyed and benefited both politically, economically, socially, culturally for the last almost thirty years. A new Straight Pathway ought to be found as soon as possible. It is a matter of the Nation’s well-being and the Nation’s future. A “T“ intersection offers only two limited choices: either to take a LEFT turn, or to take a RIGHT turn.

Calculatingly, the Leadership of the Democratic Party offered the “left” turn to the American people who for a long time observed the obvious loss of Straight Pathway and very little effort to find and choose a new Straight Pathway by the ruling Republican Party. Needless to remind that a historical “left” turn is proven to be “the road to the Hell  paved with good intentions” in the past leading to the “Dead End“ of Socialism.

The defeat of the GOP in 2008 mainly happened because the Republican Leadership never offered the Nation decisively opposite and ideologically superior “right“ turn based on traditional values of conservatism and positively encouraged the American people to continue their Historical Journey through the current “crisis of human affairs“ to fulfill the promise of “a more perfect Union“. Instead of that all Republican candidates were stubbornly and blindly repeating over and over again their old “right message” of “lower taxes”, “smaller government”. “stronger defense”, and etc., that actually called to continue taking the old “good”, but the non-existing Straight Pathway anymore.

Meanwhile, the American people became sick and tired of uncertainties in the dark reality of the lost Straight Pathway. No wander! It is very hard to see a light at the end of a tunnel at a time of the endless War in the Middle East, fears of terrorist attacks with Weapons of Mass Destruction at home, continued and embarrassing dependency on the foreign crude oil, an unresolved problem of the illegal immigration, sky rocking energy and food prices, collapse of the Real Estate market, financial troubles on the Wall Street, failures of the American auto industry, rising unemployment, and etc.

The Democratic propaganda machine supported by a bias media - made everything possible to directly associate with and blame for this current “crisis of human affairs” the Republican President and the Republican Party. Not being able to produce own original ideological program, but  the “old hat” discredited Marxist redistribution of wealth, Democrats cynically imitated in their election campaign  the ideological platform of the National Socialist Party (Nazis) in the election of 1933 in Germany. The latter worked  well 75 years ago, and it worked again for the Democratic Party in the 2008 National Election in the United States.

This was an obvious very sharp “left” turn millions conservative Americans voted against of in 2008. However, the majority of voters including some conservatives were captivated by a Barack Obama’s well-articulated message of “anticonservatism“, his demagoguery call for a “change”, and his messianic promises to save the Nation from the current “crisis” of “the historic proportion“.

It is self-evident that the Nation is currently in a “crisis of human affairs” and undergoing an unprecedented and fundamental historical transformation. The latter requires an adequate extraordinary Message and a great Messenger - true Statesman being able not only to passionately articulate that message, but actually deliver it. Can Democrats in Power do that?

The Republican Party arguably is the only political party in the United States that still can produce both the “right” political, economic. social and cultural Message in “crises of human affairs” and the “right” Messenger to lead the Nation away from the historical “Dead End“ of Socialism currently offered by the Democratic Party to the American people.

Republicans just need to rediscover the old, but never aged principles of conservatism originally formed the party of Abraham Lincoln. These principles derived from and based on practical ideas and Ideals of the Constitution of the United States “to form a more perfect Union“.

In other words, the victorious future of the GOP entirely depends on this uncorrupted ideological platform no one can deny either inside, or outside the Party. As John Marshall once said: “... a constitution, intended to endure for  years to come, and consequently to be adapted to the various crises of human affairs”.

The GOP needs to become the Party of the Ideology of the U.S. Constitution, representing and truly advancing the absolute Ethics and the perfect Esthetics of the Supreme Law of the Land. The Party that could realistically narrow the gap between the Spirit, the Word, the Intent of the U.S. Constitution and the reality the American people live in.
