When Barack Obama was declared our 44th President, you didn't just revel in that victory -- you started asking what's next for this movement.

Comment by Boris Tiraspolsky: This is a rhetorical question. Obviously, Barack Obama intends to keep "this movement" at all the time he is in the White House. In other words this is the beginning of establishing Barak Obama's Ideological Force to be utilized for manipulating public opinion in case of an opposition to his agenda.

David Plouffe: How is this unprecedented group of volunteers, grassroots leaders, and dedicated supporters going to help make change a reality?

Comment by Boris Tiraspolsky: This is another rhetorical question. Barack Obama who came to Power by attacking conservatism, calling for change and emphasizing of crisis desperately needs and totally relies on ongoing activities of these "group of volunteers, grassroots leaders, and dedicated supporters". In other words Barack Obama is the very first President of the United States who is practically forming his PERSONAL IDEOLOGICAL FORCE in order to advance his own agenda.

David Plouffe: More than half a million people shared their thoughts and ideas about moving forward, and we listened carefully. Last week, President Obama announced the creation of Organizing for America -- a group that will work alongside the President to support the agenda you fought so hard for.

Comment by Boris Tiraspolsky: The future Obama's personal Ideological Force of more then a half million people is an extremely powerful tool to support his agenda. The only question is: why does the Republican Party have no any Ideological Force to resist that agenda? Moreover, there is nothing of the kind currently on a horizon, yet.

David Plouffe: You can be part of its first steps. You've already invested in the future of this country -- whether you voted, donated money, helped organize your local community, or got involved in countless other ways. But right now, your participation in the political process is more important than ever.

Comment by Boris Tiraspolsky: I wish the words above would have been written by some Leader of the Republican Party. Is anyone out there who is intelligent enough to understands that this is U.S. Ideological Civil War for Fate of the Nation? This war cannot be won without knowing your enemy and having superior Ideological Instruments and Forces. Barack Obama and his fellow Democrats seem to understand that well. They do know the Power of Ideology first hand. They won the election by using that Power.

I don't as a general rule go in for the liberal media conspiracy meme (unlike, say, Sam), but I am struck at the coverage regarding Organizing for America, the campaign-style effort (first reported, incidentally, in Washington Whispers by my colleague Paul Bedard when it was called Obama 2.0) housed in the DNC and aimed at maintaining the grass-roots movement that swept Obama into White House. Bill Clinton, and to a lesser extent George W. Bush, were criticized for establishing a permanent campaign mentality in the White House. Not so much Obama. I suspect that it's because 16 years later we're used to it; and it may be that once we get more than a week into the Obama administration, criticism of the White House's grass-roots campaign arm will increase. But at the moment the silence is striking.
