Letter to Mr. Liberal

Dear Mr. Liberal

I have been listening to your rants and rhetoric for a while now, and must say that you have finally prompted me to write to you, directly, to vent my frustrations.  We have the same goals, sometimes, but even when they are truly the same, you fight me tooth and nail, then blame the problem on me, just to make me look bad. Continued...

You wailed recently about the plight of public education, and how poor our children's test scores are when compared to other nations.  I totally agree with you.  However, isn't it time we admitted that public education is a product of your failed ideas, and not mine?  Surely, you can't say that my ideas, my Conservative priniples, have had a place in the public schools since at least 1970.  Won't you stop for a moment and admit that, at least on education, your way has failed?  Let us plot a new course, to ensure that tomorrow's adults have the best education on the planet.

You often cry about the use of our military and intelligence services around the world when it is done to protect our national interests, particularly in Iraq.  In 1991, we whipped ol' Saddam pretty good, and yet you complained because we didn't take him out.  Now that he's gone, you cry because we did.  You want us to leave a country that was a state sponsor of terror, and you wail at us for not going into Darfur.  Tell me, Mr. Liberal, how long will we be in Darfur before you start crying that it, too, will be another Vietnam?  How we did it wrong, or made tragic mistakes?  If you would just back off for a little while, we could whip the crap out of these jihadists and be on our way to help those Darfurnians out.  We're stretched a little thin right now, mostly because you've convinced the enemy that we are vulnerable, and that they are winning.  Last I checked, that's treason, but you don't care.....

Can we talk about taxes for a minute?  I know how you like to spend money and all, almost as much as George Bush, but could we get something straight here?  $3 trillion is enough.  With that much money, you could give every man, woman, and child in the US enough to buy a house in Zimbabwe.  Oh, and one other thing.  I know you're not stupid, so can you please admit that lowering taxes on the wealth producers in our country actually increases revenue for a change?  That truth is as plain as the nose on your face.  Just tell me that you want to punish rich people, so we can get that little fact out of the way, ok?  There are some rich people I don't like either, mostly those in Hollywood.  They could use a little punishment right now.

Can you please stop this foolish lecturing I get every time someone with an (R) after their name does something you've spent all of your adult life glamorizing and promoting?  Who's the hypocrite now, Mr. Liberal?

And lastly, do me a favor.  Promise me that you'll nominate Hillary to run for President.  When she doesn't pick Obama to be her Veep, I want to hear you racist hypocrites explain that one.  Not only that, but I *really* want to hear them get slaughtered at the debates.  Oh, I don't know if the Republican nominee will be the one doing the slaughtering, but I know for a fact your base will be.  See, when she gets to the general election, she has to pick one between the hard left and the middle, and neither side is gonna be happy.  At all.

Thank you for your time, Mr. Liberal.  I'll see you in '08.  You better pack a lunch.

Sincerely,
Concepts2
